The really cool thing about Nashville is that I’ve met a ton of great people and I’ve only been here about a month! That includes cool family now too! I got a phone call Saturday morning from a number I didn’t recognize. It turns out I have cousins on my dad’s side of the family in Nolansville, TN!
Independence Day is one of their favorite holidays and my cousin Caty’s husband Will is a HUGE fan of fireworks and he gave us an amazing show! Caty and I even lit a couple of fireworks for the first time! Will found this really neat idea on Pinterest to screw the fireworks tubes to a pallet to make them more stable (which was a great idea and you can see a picture below). There was fantastic food, a special cake made by my cousin Larry, great people and an ocean scene with blue Jello made by Sarah. Enjoy the grand finale!
