Weekend Highlights: April 13 – 15

Don’t let Friday the 13th keep you in the house this weekend. It is spring time in Nashville, so that means there are plenty of festivals and baseball games to attend! We have found several events in town this weekend that we know you are going to love!

Friday 4/13

Nashville Sounds Game

If you haven’t already heard, opening day for baseball season and the Nashville Sounds was Tuesday, April 10th. This weekend is your chance to see the Sounds in action! Come out this Friday for the home game against the Omaha Storm Chasers. If you haven’t been to First Tennessee Park yet, come to this game and experience fireworks afterwards!

Saturday 4/14

Barre at the Bar

Get your weekend started right. Bring your friends and barre to the beat! This workout is less than an hour long and will have you feeling great! Be sure to bring a yoga mat, sunglass/sunscreen (yes, this is a rooftop bar!), and your ID. You’ll need your ID for one important reason, COMPLIMENTARY mimosas after your work out! Hello Saturday!

Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival

This is one of Nashville’s favorite annual spring festivals and it is free! Bring your whole family and celebrate the spring season while learning all about Japanese culture. Experience their music and dance, art, food and so much more. The entertainment does not stop here; there will be martial arts demos, sumo suit wrestling, and a cherry blossom walk!

Nashville Wine and Food Festival

“Nashville’s premier wine and food experience.” With over 50 wineries, 20 restaurants, 10 breweries, and multiple local food markets attending this festival, that quote is an understatement! Attend food and wine seminars at the Food and Wine Village. Sample craft beer at the Beer Garden. Enjoy the Cigar Lounge. Included with admission is a 6-bottle wine tote (let’s be honest, you’re not leaving here without bringing something home), a wine glass, and wine accessories. Can this event be every weekend?!

Sunday 4/15

Yoga on the Diamond

What is better than spending your Sunday morning doing yoga, then attending a Sunday baseball game after? That’s right, tickets include the morning yoga session and the Sounds games versus Omaha that evening! Join your Nashville Sounds and Small World Yoga for a day full of outdoor exercise!
