“In honor of National Dive Bar Day on July 7, Garth Brooks announced his upcoming Dive Bar Tour, which will make seven stops this summer. The tour takes it’s name from his current single, “Dive Bar,” with Blake Shelton.

The first announced stop will be Chicago on July 15. The location of the Chicago dive bar will be revealed on July 8.

“Sometimes, man, that’s your church. A church is: people who are like you, that are searching, and sometimes you need a shoulder to lean on. That’s what a dive bar is. That’s what a good one is anyway. We’re gonna go to seven of them. It’s gotta be Chicago.”

Garth also mentioned during his Facebook Live chat that Layla’s in Nashville would be his pick if the tour comes to Nashville because that’s where “Friends in Low Places” and “Callin’ Baton Rouge” were both born.” STORY HERE
