Christmas came “a week early, but right on time,” this year, according to Rory Feek, who recently shared a picture of his family celebrating the holiday early, complete with a visit from Santa!

As many fans know, back in October, Rory Feek shared that his wife, Joey, who has Stage IV cervical cancer, was not responding to medical treatment, and shortly thereafter, he shared that Joey had entered home hospice care.

So a surprise visit from Santa AND Mrs. Claus.bearing Christmas gifts, was a wonderful display of love, gifted to them by close friends of the couple!

To top it all off, it was the first time, Joey and Rory’s daughter, Indiana, ever met Santa Claus!

“What a blessing this evening was,” Rory Feek shared. “What a beautiful way to kick off the week leading up to Christmas.”

And what a beautiful reminder to all of us of the blessings of friends and family, this holiday season. As always, my thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Joey, Rory, and family! God bless!
