Thunder on the Cumberland
This may be the perfect Father’s Day event for the whole family to enjoy. Fast boats and beer! Thunder on the Cumberland is a powerboat championship circuit and these boats are exclusively meant for speed! Friday are the qualifying races and the championship races start on Saturday at noon!

Taste of Music City Festival
One thing we love about Music City is the food and drink selection. This festival highlights them all! Come to explore the variety of food from iconic Nashville restaurants and local favorite dining spots and drinks. Also included in this festival are live demonstrations from Nashville’s top chefs, and live music (duh). Proceeds will benefit Nashville State Community College Foundation.

Big Band Dance
Do you love dancing but maybe need a little guidance? Here is your chance! Every Saturday this summer there are free dance lessons and live music all night! This week’s dance lesson is all about the Rumba!

5K at Fontanel
Is your dad a fitness king? This 5k is a little different than most. It is a wooded trail race! Included with the race price is a tour of the Fontanel Mansion, hot air balloon rides, free breakfast, and more! Come and run the hills of Whites Creek Valley with your dad and ensure an awesome start to Father’s Day weekend!

Father’s Day Luau
Celebrate Father’s Day with a view! 28 floors above the city, Nashville becomes Hawaii at Skye Restaurant! Skye is hosting a Hawaiian Luau menu for all the best dads out there including a whole-roasted pig. Treat your dad, grandfather, brother, or friend to an experience he will never forget this Father’s Day weekend.
